STONE SOUP FOR THE WEEKEND

I'de like to dedicate this weekend to all those wonderfully simple childish pleasures out there. I swear my stomach would be full to bursting if i actually ate all the stone soup we made, the #1 rated game of the nieces. That's right folks, my sweet eldest sister came to visit from up north bringing with her her cute n' cuddly husband and two of my favorite little people in the world. Meet Lily and Audrey, my two playmates who have butt kicking skills in cake making and beater-licking. Together we entered into the dark abyss of night, with flashlights in hand, in persuit of our stealthy cat hunt, played the "Flashlight game" the mind-blowingly simple yet oh so entertaining game created by yours truly, and even managed to fit in a little star gazing. Lily had me reenact the plot of Tangled with her because, let's just say that what Justin Beiber is to teenage girls is what Tangled is to Lily. Three times she had me dramatically fall to my death from the tower only to magically revive me with a kiss to have me kidnap her once more where she could be saved by her prince/dog toy. The romantic fantasies girls have these days... to tell the truth i've had too many moments to count this weekend that i wish i could just bottle up and put on a shelf, but until then blogging will have to do

2ND TIME'S THE CHARM

 

Today started out just like any other day, just mindlessly meandering around pinterest when something inspiring happened {that's right! it's not a myth! not only can pinterest make you dream of impossibly perfect lifestyles, but it can also be the perfect slap in the face to bring you back to your senses} and i came across these little beauties. So guess what folks?! Ima gonna blog again! Enough of this imaginary blogging of spilling my whining guts out and saving it as a draft that i've been doing for the past few months, nope. Im talking about the real deal, 100%, true blue through and through blogging. So.....here it goes!
